Before race day
The pre-race checklist
Work through these items as a team before 8 August. Getting the basics sorted in advance is the biggest help on race day.

- Hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses
- Food and nutrition for the full day
- Charged phone or GPS watch with offline maps
- Hi-vis vest or reflective gear
- Blister kit — tape, plasters, spare socks
- Cash or card for emergencies
In the support car
- Insured support vehicle for the full day
- Bike with front and rear lights
- Cool bag or box with team food and drinks
- Team first aid kit
- Printed backup of your route
- Portable charger and cables
